We held the "Mohawk Valley Antique Tractor Day and Country Fest" will be held at Kast Hill Farm, 126 Kast Hill Rd., Herkimer, NY. The day will feature a 20 mile antique tractor parade through four villages, a country auction, swap meet, antique snowmobile show, chicken barbecue, and two country band performances.

Tractor Parade  

The tractor parade was open to all antique and new model tractors. Tractors must be able to maintain a speed of 10 miles per hour. Tractors must have a "slow moving vehicle" emblem. Drivers must be 18 years or older. Only the driver could be on the tractor. Tractors may be decorated.

Participants had to register by June 18, 2010 to be in the parade. Registration was $25 per tractor. The registration fee included a chicken barbecue, and event admissions for the driver.

The show fee will be a flat $10 with no limit on number of sleds and a $10 vendor fee. For those interested, camping will be available on site (no hookups). The show site is located on the beautiful West Canada Creek at 126 Kast Hill Rd., Herkimer, NY 13350.
